It all started when Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton
launched the first Hard Rock Café in London back in 1971—
provide first-rate, moderately-priced casual American fare with
warm service in an audacious ambiance of rock 'n' roll. The result
was an instant classic, and as Danny & The Juniors put it some time ago,
Rock 'n' Roll Is Here To Stay and so is the Hard Rock riff.

If you want a bed and a mint on a pillow, you hit Motel 6. If you want to rock,
you come to Hard Rock. Nightlife entrepreneurs Rande and Scott Gerber—founders
of the Gerber Group and developers of internationally acclaimed restaurants, lounges
and bars—put everything they learned into their first San Diego venues at the Hard Rock.
Which is why guests will flock to Moonstone Lounge, the stylish rooftop pool bar with private
poolside cabanas, flat screen TV's, mini bars, sectional seating and fire pits surrounded by opium
beds. Laid back guests can unwind over cocktails and a game in Sweetwater Saloon--its specially
designed tables feature individual beer taps so you can serve yourself without ever leaving the table.

For the energy to party hardy, you can’t go wrong with the classic sushi bar fare and nouveau Japanese
cuisine at Nobu. Tokyo-born Nobu Matsuhisa, one of the only chefs celebrated enough to be recognized simply
as Nobu, is a culinary virtuoso with a noble following of food elite from New York to Malibu. With offerings like
Lobster with Wasabi Pepper Sauce and Black Cod with Miso, sushi lovers and A-listers constantly vie for reservations.

After a hard day’s work, the world-class, full-service Rock Spa has what you need to recharge so you can party till you drop.
Choose one of five luxurious treatment rooms for an Amped-Up Sugar Scrub or Dream Weaver Massage.

The big draw is, of course, the music. And Hard Rock delivers. There’s Folsom, where you can groove to a mega-amped
celebrity DJ,an intimate live concert or unplugged set, even a movie premier. There’s also Woodstock, a 9,000 square-foot outdoor
event space overlooking the Gaslamp Quarter where you just might catch the Black Eyed Peas or an A-lister's birthday party.

When it’s time to crash, Hard Rock unites comfort with cool. The Studios feature Sleep- Like-a-Rock halo-illuminated beds that create a sense of floating, green-room inspired m-bar refreshment centers, and sensually-styled bathrooms with ceiling-mounted rain showers. There’s also plenty of high tech at the Hard Rock, including integrated video and sound systems with 42" LG flatscreen HDTVs, video games and jack-pack technology that allows plug-and-play access from your personal audio player (iPod or MP3), video camera or notebook computer to the media hub.

If you partied like a rock star, you might opt for a Rock Star Suite where you can choose from 17 different ultra-VIP experiences. The tres chic urban lofts combine surprising design pairings, spa-like bathrooms and outdoor decks with “blow me away” views of the city and bay. One suite has a fire pit and deck seating for 20, another features 270-degree views of the San Diego Bay and an outdoor hot tub. There’s even a suite designed by the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie and Taboo.

It’s all at the Hard Rock in Gaslamp, baby. “Can you dig it? I knew that you could.” Lordz Of Brooklyn
